From the Outside Looking In This Time

Cedarseed has been featured on CNN now, and apparently is giving interviews. In about a week, she has gone from private artists living a peaceful life in Lebanon, to world-wide correspondent caught between Syria, Hezbollah and Israel. She's watching her city and her country get pounded into the dirt. During Katrina, New Orleans had some civil unrest, but it was never a war zone. In New Orleans, we could still get some "work" done. In Lebanon, all she can do is try to keep safe. It's crazy.

And if Israel invades, and it looks like Israel will after the Westerners are gone, she would likely lose internet connectivity. During Katrina, people had ways to help us. I don't know if anyone can help the Lebanese people.
