Got the new crew up to speed on Diesel and the generator. The streets have been pretty quiet -- it's just military, law enforcement, and press that I can see.

Everyone keeps asking if we're going to comply with the mandatory evacuation order. We're exempt.

The comments section is being moderated because of the lack of respect being shown to my fiancee and my military record. I'm not upset -- I just don't think those detractors deserve the kind of internatoinal exposure they've been getting up to this point. If people want to criticize me based on my decisions or my writing or my actions, they're welcome to do that -- I suffer no delusions of perfection. But if you want your anonymous comments unscreened, you'll have to leave it at that. It's sad that I have to post this disclaimer.

I think my adrenaline high from being so busy the last week+ came crashing down once Crystal left. I am very drowsy right now and I'm gonna go rest for a bit. I have no news to report. I did hear that Oprah aired a show on New Orleans today. I was told she did a good job capturing the utter devestation.
